
Hi all hope your all well and enjoying a great start to 2019
This is the time of year everybody thinks about being healthier and a becoming a better version of themselves for 2019. Some people use the New Year as a new beginning a chance to start fresh and most will fail or stop within the first two weeks .
The odd person will however be committed and succeed and the reason why is because they were prepared to do the things that the others were not prepared to do. Basically they wanted it more and they were all in, they were prepared to get uncomfortable and failure was not an option.
Below is a list of 15 points that I believe will help you achieve your health and fitness goals for 2019.
1. Believe in yourself
2. Lift some weights and ladies they will not make you big – Incorporate meditation, relaxation, nature and fun into your life and anything that feeds your soul Strong, healthy woman are beautiful woman and it’s the best anti ageing medicine on the planet
3. Have a just show up attitude , regardless of whats going on in your life
4. Your support group will often let you down so make sure you hang out with people that have the same goals and dreams as you or the people that have your back. Remove Toxic people from your life
5.Follow a healthy sensible eating plan that allows you to eat real food and all food groups – Diets don’t work
6. When you change the way you look at things the things you look at change – stay focused , stay positive and live your life in gratitude.
7. If or when you Get off track just get back on stack – do not self sabotage yourself and your results – Its called life it’s ok
8. Nothing changes until you do – You are were you are today because of the person you are and the things you have done – if you want things to change you need to change.
9. Make it a lifestyle – Motivation does not last – The right Attitude to create habits that are aligned with your goals gets results
10. Do not chase leaness at the expense of wellness – Chase wellness and the leaness will come
11. Think of exercise as a way of appreciating what your body is capable of doing and how much stronger robust and flexible its getting and not as a form of punishment or burning calories.
12. Understand that Fitness is a emotional, physical and spiritual journey with so many layers. Tap into those layers and listen to your body . Sometimes less is more and your body is always communicating with you so listen to it.
13. Get a good coach
14. Enjoy and fall in love with the process or the journey – Understand it’s not about the destination and there is no end goal its all about the journey or the process so fall in love with that and the destination looks after itself.
15. Never ever give up – because YOU are worth it
