A topic that comes up frequently these days is the power of the mind and it’s an easy topic to talk about but it’s a very hard thing to master and takes a lot of work. Just like Fitness . health and body transformations it’s an ongoing process and the reason most people never learn the power of it is because it takes hard work and it’s an ongoing , forever evolving beast.
What you know is one thing but do you do what you know is a completely different story and consistency and persistence which then creates habits which then creates a lifestyle is the only answer. Always look at the long game not that quick fix short term solution.
Like running a successful business many entrepreneurs will tell you that its one thing becoming successful or making a lot of money but its another thing staying there and so many have made millions only to lose it all over again. Sound familiar it’s a little like weight loss we’ve all done it but how many have successfully take it off and kept it off. The secret ingredient in everything in life from relationships , to family, friends , work , health , wellness etc etc is not found in a pill , a book, a seminar or some secret recipe its called Hard Work and its ongoing . Unfortunately Hard work isn’t a great selling strategy or product so millions of useless products, supplements , books and remedies will be sold to you the consumer promising you hope , answers and false promises whilst the real answer is inside each and every one of us. Hard work isn’t something that should be feared or looked at in a negative way and it’s not all about doing long hours , working out with some crazy high intensity training or sacrificing all the things you love doing or your loved ones. It’s about the journey its about knowing there is no shortcuts , its about learning , growing . staying humble, live in peace and Love and to continue to do the right thing regardless of how uncomfortable it seems at the time. Yes the mind is a powerful tool and you can use it to your advantage or disadvantage and in the end it all comes down to choices. It’s so much easier to live your life as a victim , blaming others , being negative and giving in to your fears and Beliefs, but real growing is done when you challenge those beliefs. overcome your fears and live your life from a positive mindset

We mind our step. We mind our manners. We mind our money. We mind our language. We mind our business. But, more often than not, we don’t mind our mind. The human mind is like a Golden Retriever puppy; consuming pretty much anything and everything in its path. And, just like the puppy, it will consume things that make it sick. Do you ever feel like that space between your ears is not the healthiest place to be?
Welcome to a very large club.
Your mind is the control room of your life. It’s where you absorb, process and interpret information. It’s where you give the events and experiences of your world meaning. It’s the internal filter of your external environment. It’s where your beliefs, values, standards, expectations and fears live and operate. It’s the window from which you view the world around you. It’s the place that gives birth to your dreams, hopes and ideas. It’s the director of your choices, reactions and behaviours and, therefore, the controller and shaper of your personal reality.
Just like your body, your mind needs to be trained and nourished properly in order for it to function optimally. If you feed it rubbish, it will get sick. If you don’t exercise it, challenge it or ‘take it for a run’ from time to time, it will get fat, lazy and lethargic, its potential will never be explored and, more than likely, it will be an unpleasant place for you to live.
