and transforming their bodies but the people that have transformed their lifestyles to better their bodies. Those who have not only started their journey but have made it a complete lifestyle and have maintained that for over 5 , 10 , 15. 20 years and beyond. Those who have not only lost weight, gotten leaner stronger and healthier but have improved or sustained those changes over a long period of time. Those people who have a just show up attitude regardless of whats going on in their lives and follow a exercise regime and eating plan that is not only sustainable but continues to nourish, strengthens and improve their bodies. Those few who haven’t become a victim of the fitness industry but instead a victor to a fitness lifestyle that serves them not one that they serve. These people are not recipe chasers going from one diet to another. one supplement to another, chasing the latest fad exercise and been dictated by the media and junk science. These gladiators understand the importance of balance and that all food has its place and yes you can have your carbs, gluten, ice cream, cake and eat it too while sustaining a healthy lifestyle and is infact important to do so. We are all emotional beings and food should be embraced not feared and exercise should be used to strengthen , enhance, increase health, mind set. vitality and well being not to break it down and weaken it. To those people who just get it , you are the true unsung heroes of the fitness industry , the silent achievers who live in a world that not many get to experience or understand. You are not dictated by outside influences, you listen to your own body and nourish it accordingly.
Yes big weight loss stories and transformations are impressive and I have had the privilege of watching and being part of 100’s of my clients completely transform their bodies and lives. I have also witnessed some who have moved on after extraordinary weight losses to become victims of other peoples false promises and fast solutions destroying their metabolisms in the process and all that hard work and watch them slowly but surely go back to their old selves.
