Hope you are all well and enjoying the week and the new program .
As some of you begin to get to the end of your 12 week Challenge it’s a good time to do a internal checkin and remember why you started this journey in the first place. To understand that these 12 weeks is more about setting you up for life than the results you get and it’s about creating a healthy lifestyle that you can follow for the rest of your life. Understanding metabolism and why its important to eat frequent meals , why its important to have refeeds or free meals / days and how empowering it actually feels to start to be in control instead of letting all these outside influences control you.
We all have choices and the more times you stay strong and don’t give in to that craving the stronger you get so keep in mind as well that our mind responds at the level of intensity that approximates the potency of the stimulationit receives. So by eating frequently you can avoid hunger and cravings or have healthy snacks on stand by which is also why I include free meals and days to release the emotional attachment to food.
Let yourself get to hungry and you now invite cravings and when you do and then you think about indulgent foods your mind is likely to hyper respond to those foods making it more likely that you will feed that craving and once you do that you induce a heightened awareness of future cravings as well
It’s about questioning what you pay attention to and how that makes you feel not letting media and ,marketing companies dictate terms . The modern industrial beauty machine earns billions of dollars by cleverly and sophisticatedly selling you the notion that you are not good enough …and getting you to believe in the notion for a lifetime.
They want you to believe that you are not good enough , pretty enough, stylish enough, too fat in the ass or big hips so they can sell this back to you with a solution .
Most people want to disempower you so they can control you but Im here to tell you that you have all the tools you need to achieve whatever you want within you just have to believe . Ive always told anyone that will listen that the hardest but most rewarding thing you will ever do in your life is to work on yourself and when you do that everyone wins . You your loved ones , friends, acquaintances and anyone that crosses your path.
Whether you are happy and content depends on your inner harmony with your own mental, emotional, and behavioral self – AND NOT – on how much control you have over external circumstances.
